Around fifteen years ago, I found a treasure. It has been a blessing to me ever since. I discovered Logos Bible Software. I started with the basic package and then slowly added to it over the years. Logos has become an essential part of my life—something like a car, TV or cell phone—I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have it.
One of the features that I truly appreciate about Logos 9 is its connectedness. On one screen I can have a couple of versions of the Bible for comparison. One or two commentaries can be loaded and synced with those versions so that I can reference them with the click of a mouse. By highlighting a word I can reference the Greek or Hebrew word from which it was translated. Now countless online references can be accessed with a flick of the mouse. There is no other Bible study software that I know of that offers the user the breadth and depth of information that Logos 9 does.
When I was actively serving a congregation, Logos software enabled me to build sermons by easily supplementing my words with Biblical references, commentary insights, and text background. While building my sermon, I could at the same time construct my accompanying PowerPoint presentation, and craft a study piece, which members of the congregation could use to follow along or take home for reflection.
Devotional books, Bible reading programs are available for personal renewal. There is a plethora of articles on theology, church history, Biblical scholarship and the latest developments in archeology. Having Logos 9 on your computer is like having an entire library at your fingertips—and it is all synced with your desktop, laptop, tablet and hand held device. You can take Logos 9 anywhere and everywhere.
I hope you won’t miss the chance to check out Logos 9. You can follow this link Logos 9, and purchase the program for 15% off. You also can receive five additional books (from a pre-selected list).
