Jessica Mutunga has written a delightful, little book that is filled with tips for a healthy, happy, and long life. Her book, The light Way: God’s Tools for a Healthy, Happy, Long Life offers a wholistic approach to health. Her ideas are biblically based and offer the perspective that all of life is connected and we live in community with others. Mutunga’s views are a refreshing change from the often individualistic tenor of other health gurus.
Mutunga’s book offers readers a life changing pathway to a healthier and fuller life. The path includes our relationship with nature and each other, and rest along with the staples of food and exercise. Though, I’m not looking for such a significant change in my life. I have found that I can incorporate several of her ideas into my life in my quest for health and wholeness.
Mutunga also offers readers her services as a health coach. The offer does not come in the form of a hard sell. Rather it is given as further help for those who are serious in wanting to make significant changes in their lives.
If you are planning on making substantial health changes in your life, or are only looking for a few ideas to be healthier, I think you’ll like this book.
